## About the bank

Hamkorbank operates under Central Bank license No. 64, issued on 31 August 1991. According to the Central Bank register it is a bank with foreign capital participation. It ranks second among large banks in the CERR rating for Q2 2026. Its net profit for the first half of 2026 was UZS 969.9 billion, fourth in the country after Ipoteka Bank, the National Bank and Uzpromstroybank. The bank issues UnionPay Classic, Visa Classic, Uzcard and Humo cards. The website is in Russian, there is a mobile app, and the contact center answers on 1256.

## Account for non-residents

There are no published rules for non-residents. The general procedure applies: a personal visit, a passport, a PINFL (personal identification number) and proof of registration. The website does not say whether the bank currently issues cards to foreigners and Russians, so the best way to find out is to call the contact center or visit a branch. The bank publishes no separate terms for Russians, and Mir does not work in Uzbekistan.

## Cards and payments

For foreign customers the most relevant card is UnionPay Classic, which according to the website gives cashback and discounts on purchases in China. Uzcard and Humo are suited to payments inside the country. As with other banks, since 22 April 2026 the app requires an Uzbek SIM card in your name if you want to use it without restrictions.
